Jose Mourinho doubts Man United players’ mental strength

It recalled the more testing times and aimless performances that scarred Louis Van Gaal’s two-year spell at the club.

Mourinho singled out Luke Shaw for criticism, highlighting the left-back’s failings in the build-up to Watford’s 83rd-minute second goal that effectively killed off United’s hopes of completing their recovery after Marcus Rashford had cancelled out Watford’s first-half lead, given to them by Etienne Capoue.
