Leicester block Jeff Schlupp's move to West Brom
The wideman wants to speak to the Baggies but the champions are holding firm and have rejected Albion’s latest offer of £12m (€13.8m).
Leicester manager Claudio Ranieri said this week he wants Schlupp to stay despite the 23-year-old’s desire to play more after he made just 14 starts in the Premier League last season.
And Baggies boss Tony Pulis wants Schlupp as one of five new signings before the transfer window closes. Pulis said: “Obviously we made an offer and the understanding was that the lad wanted to play first-team football.
“I think he would have been keen to come to us but they are the team that hold the player and they have to decide whether they want to let him go or not.”
