Arsene Wenger giving his Euro stars four week break

Arsene Wenger has guaranteed his Euro 2016 stars a four-week summer break, potentially leaving his side short staffed at the start of the new Premier League campaign.

Wales midfielder Aaron Ramsey, German playmaker Mesut Ozil and French duo Olivier Giroud and Laurent Koscielny have all been granted an additional break following a draining European Championship.

Alexis Sanchez is also nursing the ankle injury he sustained helping Chile win the Copa America in the US, but Wenger won’t rush back his other stars.
