Poland coach Adam Nawalka doesn’t want his star striker Robert Lewandowski compared to Cristiano Ronaldo as he searches for his first goal of Euro 2016 against Switzerland in St Etienne today.

Bayern Munich forward Lewandowski, who scored 42 goals for his club last season including five in nine minutes against Wolfsburg in a Bundesliga match, is struggling to live up to expectations in France where he is yet to find the net.

However, although Portugal’s Ronaldo went through exactly the same thing before bursting into life against Hungary recently, Nawalka is furious that the two could be compared ahead of today’s last-16 clash.
