Leicester forward Vardy left for France on Monday still considering a proposed £20m (€25.6m) move to Arsenal, with the Premier League champions reportedly set to make a new improved contract offer to keep him at the King Power Stadium.

England boss Roy Hodgson has been firm in his insistence club matters should not distract his players from their duty with the national team as preparations continue ahead of the opening Group B game against Russia in Marseille on Saturday.
