Kildare will be without team captain Eoin Doyle and Daniel Flynn for their Leinster championship opener against Wexford tomorrow week, while Niall Kelly faces a race against time to be fit.

Doyle played no part in the league campaign and though he made a cameo appearance in a challenge against Laois, has insufficient time on the pitch to be considered for selection.

Flynn missed the Division 3 final loss to Clare with a hamstring injury and though he is making progress, the Wexford game will come too early.
