Early blitz proves decisive as St Pat’s demolish Wexford Youths

St Patrick’s Athletic 4 Wexford Youths 0: Conan Byrne scored twice as St Patrick’s rediscovered winning home form to overpower Wexford Youths who finished with ten men at Richmond Park.

Liam Buckley’s side were ahead on six minutes from their first incisive attack. The marking was negligent as Mark Timlin rose at the back post to head home Byrne’s floated cross .
