Chris Coleman to share food for thought with the O’Neills
Wales manager Chris Coleman, who will be at the Aviva tomorrow night to assess their France 2016 opponents Slovakia, has been outlining his plans to share some food for thought with the O’Neills, Martin and Michael.
Upon learning that the Northern Ireland manager wants to pick his brains about their own group opponents Ukraine after Wales play them in a friendly in Kiev tonight, Coleman said: “Absolutely, I will help Michael.
“He can call me. He can pay for my dinner. I’ll pay for Martin. I’ll take advice off Martin but if Michael wants to take advice off me the he has to pay for dinner.”
On his plans to hotfoot it back from Kiev to Dublin tomorrow night, Coleman said: “It’s on our doorstep, isn’t it. It would be silly not to go.
“I’ll probably take Martin for a bit of dinner afterwards. I’ll be paying!
“It would be ridiculous to miss that opportunity. It helps us, to be honest. If Martin says something and it is a good idea then I am happy to steal it off him.”
