Sligo off mark but first win still elusive

Sligo Rovers 1 Galway United 1: Sligo Rovers are still awaiting their first win of the season after this Connacht derby against Galway at the Showgrounds last night.

A 54th-minute strike by Ruari Keating squared a game in which Sligo lost Phil Roberts on a straight red card in the 90th minute.

Martin stunned Galway with a well-taken goal after just 60 seconds of the first half, but Stephen Walsh, Gary Walsh, and Ruari Keating quickly laid siege to the Sligo goal.
