“There’s no clause and there’s no intention or desire from us as a club (for the player to be sold) or from Bojan or his people from the conversations I’ve had — he’s very happy and we are very happy with him.

“I think it’s just a normal January story. It’s just a little big of mischief making.

“Obviously there is a lot of speculation and I think every club gets that in terms of their star players.

“That is what we are getting at the moment, but there’s a lot of misinformation.”

Leicester have completed the signing of Demarai Gray from Birmingham for an undisclosed fee, moving quickly to follow up their summer interest in the highly-rated 19-year-old.

Gray has put pen to paper on a four-and-a-half-year contract at the King Power Stadium.

Arsenal have agreed to scrap Serge Gnabry’s loan deal at West Brom and exercised a recall option.

Gnabry will have his season-long loan cut short by Arsenal after a difficult spell at the Hawthorns under head coach Tony Pulis.

The winger has only played 12 minutes of Premier League football since signing in August.

Bayer Leverkusen have ruled out a January sale of striker Javier Hernandez, who has been heavily linked with a move to Arsenal after scoring 19 goals already this season.

In response to the recent speculation, Leverkusen boss Volla said: “We’re not selling Chicharito to Arsenal or anyone else. He’s not for sale.”

La Liga outfit Malaga are reportedly targeting West Ham forward Mauro Zarate, with the 28-year-old having fallen out of favour at the east London club.

Meanwhile Chelsea are reportedly in “advanced talks” to sign Shakhtar Donetsk forward Alex Teixeira.
