Stephen Kenny’s belter rescues Cobh Ramblers

Trailing by 2-1, Kenny pounced on the ball in the 77th minute just inside the Shels half, before , taking on and beating five Dublin defenders and then thumping a shot to the roof of Greg Murray’s net for his seventh league goal of the season, and fourth in the last three matches.
A cross from Shane O’Connor fell to Kenny who was on hand to fire home his first goal of the match on 17 minutes, but Shelbourne levelled through Dylan McGlade.
Shels struck the front on 57 minutes when James English rounded Daly to put his side in front. However, Kenny had the last say.
