Sprint king Richard Kilty lays down £30k challenge to Arsenal players

According to reports, right-back Bellerin is the fastest man at Arsenal over 40 metres, having beaten Walcottâs record. The reports claim he clocked 4.42 seconds, quicker than Usain Bolt reached the 40m mark in his world record run over 100m.
But Kilty, who added the European 60m crown to his world title in Prague last month, said there was no chance Bellerin was that quick. The 25-year-old said on Twitter: âMedia claiming @HectorBellerin can run 4.42 over 40m. Absolutely no way. Are these journalists complete morons!
âI will put ÂŁ30,000 on the line to race @HectorBellerin & @theowalcott any sprint distance, any time, any place, anywhere.
âThe race will be over very quick. So if they put their money down I will gladly show everyone they can not sprint as fast as the media claim.â
Meanwhile Serge Gnabry says he is feeling âbetter and betterâ all the time as the Arsenal teenager prepares to return after more than a year out.
The 19-year-old midfielder impressed for the Gunnerslast season, but his progress has been stunted by a serious knee injury.
Gnabry, as a result, has not featured since the Champions League last-16 second leg against Bayern Munich in March 2014, although he is at last closing in on a return.
The Germany Under-21 international played for Arsenalâs development squad as they lost 1-0 to Reading on Monday and is now over his injury worries.
âI am feeling good, Iâm feeling better and better,â he told Arsenal Media.
âIt is my second 90 minutes [in the space of a week], I am playing and over my injury so it is all good and I am looking forward to the next game.â
Arsenal veteran Martin Keown insists the Gunners can be Chelseaâs main title challenger next season.
The former Gunners defender reckons Arsene Wengerâs side have progressed since winning the FA Cup last season. They are second in the Premier League, seven points behind leaders Chelsea with six games left.
And while Keown believes Jose Mourinhoâs side have wrapped up the title this time they will be threatened by Arsenal next season.
âChelsea will win it now but if you ask them next season they wonât fear anyone but they will be aware of Arsenal,â he said. âThey will want to challenge next season and they will want to start well next year. They need to strengthen in one or two positions but Iâm not talking about wholesale changes which some others may have to make if they want to compete.â
The Gunners finished fourth last season and won their first trophy for nine years after beating Hull 3-2 in the FA Cup final.
They face Reading in the semi-final at Wembley on Saturday aiming to defend the trophy against either Aston Villa or Liverpool in the final.
They are on their best run, winning eight straight league games, since the Invincible season of 2003-04 when Keown played 15 times.
And the 48-year-old said the Gunners are a more complete side than they have been for a while.
âIt has to represent progress if youâre finishing two positions higher and still in the FA Cup,â said the ex-England international, who made 451 appearances for the club and won the Premier League three times. âThey look more convincing as a team than they did last year. The players look together.
âThe squad is better equipped now, Gabriel is putting (Per) Mertesacker under huge pressure and (Francis) Coquelin is in midfield instead of (Mikel) Arteta and (Mathieu) Flamini who are maybe coming to the end of their careers.
âThey have a whole array of players who can play off the front and (Olivier) Giroud and (Danny) Welbeck are vying for the centre forward position. The competition for places creates intensity.â
