Coláiste Choilm advance to cup final
Colaiste Choilm went in front on 16 minutes when Stephen Keane blasted into the net from 12 yards.
A second goal arrived for Colaiste Choilm after 29 minutes when Dylan Scott stepped over a free kick 35 yards from goal and full back beat Tiernan Murphy at his near post with a brilliant left-footed strike.
With seconds left in the first half, Arklow hit back when Jack Darcy’s glancing header flew past Daniel Sweeney. But the insurance goal for Ballincollig came in the final minute from a penalty by Matthew Whelan.
They will now meet St Joseph’s College, Galway who beat St Columba’s College, Stranorlar 1-0 in Sligo yesterday.
