Lallana: We must stick together

Adam Lallana believes sticking together is the key to Liverpool turning around their season.

Lallana: We must stick together

Sunday’s 3-1 loss at Crystal Palace was the Reds’ fourth in a row and left them sitting 12th in the Premier League table, only four points above the relegation zone.

Liverpool have another big game tomorrow night when they meet Ludogorets, with victory imperative to keep their hopes of qualifying for the knockout stages of the Champions League alive.

Lallana said: “It was disappointing, especially after going in front so early. We need to stick together. It’s as simple as that. When you’re having a tough time as a team, you all need to stay together.”

Meanwhile, Daniel Sturridge says he is determined to return stronger than ever from his injury woe.

The Liverpool striker has been ruled out since September and is set to remain sidelined until the new year after being diagnosed with a new thigh problem.

Sturridge tweeted: “Everybody goes through things in their life that can make or break them. This for me is just another hurdle to jump over. I’ll be back soon.”
