Germany conquered, Szczesny has Georgia on his mind

Scalping the World champions on their raucous home patch in Warsaw will count for little unless Poland pick off Georgia this evening, according to goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny.

Adam Nawalka’s side sent scorch marks through the Euro 2016 Group D landscape by seeing off Germany, the precursor to them assuming top spot with Ireland after three games by drawing against Scotland four days later.

This evening’s task in Tbilisi brings with it an altogether different challenge for the visitors against a nation still bruised from back-to-back defeats to Ireland and Scotland.
