Roy Keane is relishing a return to Celtic Park next month for a Euro qualifier against Scotland which he reckons will be an uncompromising, no-holds-barred battle.

“I think it’ll be brutal, really intense, plenty of tackles flying in, lots of tension and not too much technical and tactical stuff,” he said last night. “The atmosphere at Celtic Park will be electric and the result will have a massive say on the group.”

Keane said he hoped the current management and team can bring the feelgood factor back to Irish football.
