City joy as old boy Flynn returns to the Cross
The 31-year-old Cobh man was released by League One side Exeter City at the end of the English season and now returns to City, six years after leaving the Turner’s Cross club. O’Flynn signs until the end of the season and is set to make his first appearance in Sunday’s trip to face Sligo Rovers at The Showgrounds.
“I’m delighted to be back, it’s like the good old days,” said the former Ireland U21 player. “I went to the Limerick game the other night, and you could see the buzz is back. They play good attacking football and I look forward to being a part of that.
