Ward in dark about future

Republic of Ireland defender Stephen Ward has had no contact from prospective new clubs yet, but hopes to "sort out his future" when he returns from America with Martin O’Neill’s squad.

The Portmarnock native is one of nine senior Wolves players on loan last season who manager Kenny Jackett wants to move on this summer.

Ward had an excellent season for a Brighton side that made the play-offs and was expected to sign for the Seagulls but it appears the Albion are not signing new players until a new manager is appointed.
