QPR move has me back on track

Republic of Ireland international striker Kevin Doyle feels his career is now back on track thanks to last week’s loan move to Queens Park Rangers from Wolves.

He jumped at the chance to join Rangers and is now hoping to help them make an instant return to the Premier League and in the process boost his hopes of a permanent move to Loftus Road at the end of the season. Doyle, who launched his stay at Rangers with a debut goal against Burnley in last weekend’s 3-3 draw, said: “I’ve been relegated twice, and it’s fair to say I need to get my career back on track.

“Pressure? Sure, there’s pressure but it’s good pressure, you know? “I just want to prove what I can do.
