Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini claims it would not be a risk to play goalkeeper Joe Hart at Swansea tomorrow.

Hart required five stitches in a gash under his left eye following a collision with Cameron Jerome in Saturday’s 1-0 defeat of Crystal Palace at the Etihad Stadium.

Hart received lengthy treatment at the time but continued and went on to earn the man-of-the-match award after a number of fine saves frustrated battling Palace in the second half. It was a display that fully justified his recent recall to the side after a spell out but by full time the wound had swollen considerably.
