Trap ponders offers

Giovanni Trapattoni has revealed he is contemplating job offers in the United States and Japan.

The former Ireland manager, now 74, said on Italian radio that he is keen to get back into football after parting company with the FAI in September.

Trapattoni told Radio Anch’io Sport: “I have a lot of offers, from America and Japan, but I can’t make a mistake in my decision.

“I still have great enthusiasm, I want to carry on.”
