Wenger: Suarez deal up to Reds
The Arsenal’s manager’s comments came after Liverpool’s principal owner John W Henry ruled out selling the striker, stating it would be “ludicrous” for the Merseyside outfit to allow the Uruguay striker to join a rival Premier League club and stressed it was too late in the transfer window to seek a replacement.
The Gunners have previously seen a specific offer of £40,000,001 — which was believed would trigger Suarez’s release clause — rejected out of hand by Liverpool.
