Ince not sold on son Thomas joining Cardiff
The 21-year-old is one of the most sought-after players in the Championship after making his name as a goalscoring midfielder at Bloomfield Road.
Cardiff are looking to strengthen their squad after promotion to the Premier League, but Paul Ince reckons it is only ā50-50ā his son will move on.
āCardiff have come in massively for Thomas, the chairmanās accepted the offer,ā he said. āIām not sure what the offer is because Iāve been away, but thatās been accepted, so itās a case of when he comes back next week, Thomas, weāll sit down and see what he wants to do.
āHe loves it here. He said to me, āIām in no rush to get to the Premier League, Iām in no rush to leave Blackpoolā.
āI think itās 50-50 at the moment. Itās a tricky one for me because obviously you want your son to be playing in the Premiership, but you obviously want your son to be playing with you.
āI feel as far as improvement thereās still a long way for Thomas to go and will he get that if he went to the Premiership? Iām not too sure. I know what he needs because heās grown up with me.ā
