O’Shea insists Black Cats will hold nerve

Republic of Ireland international defender John O’Shea has vowed Sunderland will hold their nerve in the battle for Premier League survival.

O’Shea’s equaliser to earn a point against Stoke City on Monday night has left them facing two huge games against Southampton and Tottenham to save themselves.

“You get to two games to go and you have to look at the other results,” admitted O’Shea, “but the big thing is that it is still in our hands.
