Lescott fighting for future

Joelon Lescott enters the final four league games, and possibly an FA Cup final, conscious he is fighting for his future for club and country.

It matters little to the 30-year-old centre-half that just 12 months after being embroiled in the most exciting league title contest in Premier League history, City have found themselves as virtual spectators in the least riveting, a fact that means that end of season feel has come to the Etihad a month early this year.
