Quinn: Reds face Suarez dilemma
Despite calls from some for the club to rid themselves of the volatile, if brilliant, Uruguayan striker, Liverpool managing director Ian Ayre has said that the player won’t be sold.
“Truthfully, if I was the CEO of Liverpool I would look at it in two halves,” said Quinn. “The half on my left says it’s totally unacceptable and brings the club down. But before I make a decision on what to do, I’ll just have a look on the right half and say, you know, if we take him out of this team, they’d be fighting with Wigan, with Aston Villa and Sunderland and Stoke. He is that important to them.
