The ghosts of Ferenc Puskas and his ilk haunt the ground that used to be known around the world as the Nepstadion but which has been renamed in honour of the Real Madrid legend and is decorated with black-and-white images of better times.

It is a venue that used to hold 76,000 souls and it did so quite often, like in 1954 when England were beaten 7-1.
