Keane off colour as LA crash

Ireland captain Robbie Keane and the host of stars at LA Galaxy stuttered again at the weekend as they were beaten 1-0 by New York Red Bulls.

Keane had LA’s best chance in the 13th minute, latching on to a Sean Franklin pass in the penalty area but he volleyed over New York keeper Ryan Meara.

Stuart Pearce was at the game in his capacity as manager of the British Olympic team. Beckham’s biggest contribution was to get booked, however.
