Cox thanks Trap for trust after ‘horrible’ season

Ireland striker Simon Cox says his season at West Brom has been “horrible” and has thanked Giovanni Trapattoni for continuing to pick him for each squad.

The 24-year-old is confident he will be on the plane to Euro 2012 despite making just six Premier league games this season.

“Apart from throughout January where I played four or five games on the bounce it has been horrible,” he said.
