Clarke strike sparks Harps

Mikey Gilmore after 19 minutes (retaliation), and Nicky Curran on 37 minutes (lashing out at Ciaran Coll), were both shown straight red cards for the visitors, who managed to hold a lacklustre Harps at bay until the break. The home side then broke the deadlock with a well-struck shot from Adam Clarke two minutes after the change of ends to signal the end of the visitors’ resistance.

Blaine Curtis played a neat one-two with Kevin McHugh before finishing for the second on 58 minutes, while McHugh added a third himself with a 61st-minute penalty after Clarke was taken down.
