Dalglish is only a short-term option for Reds, says Fowler

Former Liverpool striker Robbie Fowler believes Kenny Dalglish is the best short-term option for Liverpool, but not for the long term.

Fowler said: “At least next season, I think he is definitely the right man. He has won Liverpool’s first trophy for six years. That’s been a success and a progression from previous seasons. In terms of long-term future though, I probably don’t think that is the case. Kenny will tell you himself he is not going to be around forever. But he’s the man everyone wanted and he’s the man everyone’s got so for the time being we stick with him and see where we go.”
