Lights, camera and action for the Cross
The game is one of a record number of live broadcasts which RTÉ will devote to domestic league and cup football this season, up five from 19 last year to 24. The magazine show MNS will also return for the new season, featuring new additions to the panel in the form of Derry City legend Liam Coyle and veteran manager Pete Mahon.
Confirmed live games so far include: Drogheda United v Shamrock Rovers, Hunky Dory Park, at 7pm, March 2; Cork City v Shamrock Rovers, Turners Cross, 7pm, March 16; Bohemians v St Patrick’s Athletic, Dalymount Park, 3.45pm, March 25; Shamrock Rovers v Bohemians, Tallaght Stadium, 7pm, March 30; St Patrick’s Athletic v Shamrock Rovers, Richmond Park, 7pm, April 6.
