Ipswich release Tiofack and O’Donnell from academy

Ipswich Town have released former Ballincollig AFC striker Carel Tiofack, who was claimed to be interesting Arsenal earlier in the week.

The 17-year-old is one of five second-year Academy scholars who have been told they will be let go at the end of the season.

Tiofack’s fellow Republic of Ireland U17 international Conor O’Donnell, a goalkeeper previously with Buncrana Hearts, is also set to leave, despite recent reports in the English media linking him with Premier League sides Stoke, Blackburn and Bolton.
