Rodgers sticking with Swansea

Manager Brendan Rodgers says he would have no interest in swapping Swansea for Tottenham after committing his future to the south Wales club by signing a new three-and-a-half year contract.

Rodgers is among those being touted to take over at White Hart Lane should Harry Redknapp make the move to succeed Fabio Capello as England manager.

The link with Tottenham comes on the day that Rodgers agreed his new deal with the Swans, with chairman Huw Jenkins keen to tie the 39-year-old Irishman to a long-term contract after he guided the Welsh club to the Barclays Premier League in his first season in charge.
