Givet withdrawn after heart scare

BLACKBURN defender Gael Givet suffered a serious heart scare in yesterday’s clash at the Stadium of Light.

Givet suffered an irregular heartbeat and was replaced after 22 minutes of the clash.

Manager Steve Kean explained: “Gael’s had that before, his pulse was pounding out of his neck so we had to take him off to ensure it didn’t become a serious situation
