Comeback King reason for our success, raves Harry

HARRY REDKNAPP thinks Tottenham’s surge up the Premier League table is thanks largely to the extraordinary, logic-defying form of injury-plagued captain Ledley King.

Spurs will move into second place today if they stretch their unbeaten run to 11 matches with a win over Bolton, and Redknapp thinks it is no coincidence the club’s excellent form has coincided with King’s return to the team.

King has figured in eight of the nine consecutive wins Spurs have registered this year and the team have not lost a league game when the 31-year-old has been playing since August 2010.
