Keeper Jones’ son loses fight for life

EVERTON star Tim Cahill joined the condolences after Liverpool goalkeeper Brad Jones’ son lost his battle with leukaemia. Five-year-old Luca Jones died on Friday.

Countryman Cahill tweeted: “Thoughts and prayers to Brad Jones and family. Rest in peace Luca u beautiful Angel.”

Jones joined Liverpool is currently on loan at Derby. Jones, 29, acknowledged the support he has received on Twitter with a reference to the Liverpool anthem You’ll never walk alone: “Thank you all so much for your messages. YNWA.”
