The 18-year-old defender will be tasked in Ireland’s opening Under-19 European Championship final encounter with shackling a Greece attack that dumped France out on their way to a maximum nine-point haul in the last elite qualification stage.

Ireland racked up an impressive qualification record of their own too, conceding just one goal in six matches during the first and elite phases in securing representation at the eight-nation event in Romania for the first time since 2002.
