Bray continue impressive form

BRAY WANDERERS’ excellent season continued in Terryland Park last night with Pat Devlin’s side climbing to second following a comfortable win over Galway United.

Bray continue impressive form

The home side shaded the first 20 minutes, but the visitors soaked up that early pressure and went on to dominate the game. The only surprise was that they didn’t win by more against a United side that has now equalled a club record of 11 consecutive league losses.

For all of United’s early pressure, they didn’t force Bray ‘keeper Matt Gregg into a single save, and it was the visitors who broke the deadlock just before the break when Gary Dempsey’s corner from the left found Conor Murphy unmarked in the six yard box, and he tapped home into an unguarded net.
