Pulis ecstatic with style and substance

TONY PULIS hopes Stoke’s success in reaching FA Cup final for the first time in the club’s history on the back of a stunning 5-0 victory over Bolton Wanderers will finally silence some of the critics who have labelled his team a one-dimensional long-ball side.

Pulis ecstatic with style and substance

Pulis’s side will face Manchester City in the final on May 14th after scoring five outstanding goals, none of which originated from a set-pieces, and the manager said: “We get criticised and pulled down but I think people worry too much about being pulled down but I don’t care. We have a plan and we will stick to it.

“It will be tough for us in the final but we will give it our best shot like we did today. This win will give them confidence to give it a go.”
