Blues boss McLeish not feeling the strain

ALEX MCLEISH insists he has the full backing of the Birmingham board and “doesn’t feel at all threatened”.

McLeish has led Blues to their first major Wembley cup final in 55 years after a dramatic Carling Cup semi-final triumph over West Ham on Wednesday night.

But acting chairman Peter Pannu questioned the value of some of McLeish’s signings at the weekend while there has also been speculation that the manager’s position has come under scrutiny.
