FORMER Liverpool and Wales star Craig Bellamy has been arrested on suspicion of assault.

The player was taken into custody after two men were injured in an early morning incident in Cardiff.

The 31-year-old Cardiff City striker, who has played for Celtic, Newcastle and Blackburn Rovers, was bailed yesterday after speaking with officers.
