Blow for Ipswich as Murphy breaks ankle

IPSWICH Town goalkeeper Brian Murphy looks set to be out of action for three months after breaking his ankle in training.

The 27-year-old was taken to hospital after sustaining the injury this morning but has not had surgery.

An operation has not been ruled out though and a decision on that is likely to be made next week when the swelling goes down.
