Blades sign Galway defender Conneely

CHAMPIONSHIP: Galway United defender Seamus Conneely yesterday signed for Sheffield United.

The Republic of Ireland U21 international said he was thrilled to get the deal completed and was looking forward to life at Bramall Lane.

Sheffield United, currently 20th in the npower Championship, are on the lookout for a new manager to replace new Welsh boss Gary Speed.
