Toure blasts overpaid City slackers

MANCHESTER CITY defender defender Kolo Toure has accused some of his team-mates of not working hard enough to earn their money.

The 29-year-old, a big-money signing from Arsenal in 2009, even believes withholding their wages could motivate them to work harder.

“You need to be honest, even if you hurt people, and there are some players here, I am not scared to say, who are not working hard enough for the team,” he was quoted as saying in the News of the World.
