SAM ALLARDYCE says he used to spend two or three days in preparation to stop Morten Gamst Pedersen when he was in charge of teams against Blackburn.

Now the Rovers manager is delighted to see his rivals suffering at the hands of the Norwegian.

Gamst Pedersen was the difference at Ewood Park, settling an often drab encounter with two goals to take his tally to four in four league games.
