‘We have to be more clinical’

FOR one brief moment as Arsene Wenger dissected his side’s latest defeat to Chelsea it appeared as though the penny was finally going to drop.

The Frenchman attempted to explain how his side had lost a game they could, and, on the balance of possession, probably should have won and kept coming back to the same point.

“We have to be more clinical to win championships,” admitted the Arsenal manager. “We cannot afford to lose a game like that.”
