O’Brien agrees to join Barnsley from ’Well

SPL: Motherwell winger Jim O’Brien has signed a pre-contract agreement with Barnsley.

Both clubs confirmed on their official websites that the 22-year-old would move to the Coca-Cola Championship club in the summer.

The former Celtic player, who enjoyed loan spells at Dunfermline and Dundee United before signing for Motherwell, will make his final appearance for the club tomorrow against Clydesdale Bank Premier League champions Rangers.
