Dundalk prepared to ‘park the bus’

NEW Airtricity League-leaders Dundalk take their narrow advantage to Morton Stadium tonight for a tough assignment against third-placed Sporting Fingal (kick-off 7.45pm).

Dundalk prepared to ‘park the bus’

Fingal will be without suspended duo of Shaun Williams and Keith Quinn but Lorcan Fitzgerald, returning from a fractured cheekbone, comes into contention.

There are doubts over goalkeeper Brendan Clarke (ankle) along with midfielders Shane Barrett (thigh) and Kevin Dawson (calf) and all three will undergo pre-match fitness tests. However, key midfielder Shane McFaul is back available, having served his one-match ban in last Friday’s 2-2 draw at Galway United.
