Stokes in SPFA award shake-up

REPUBLIC of Ireland striker Anthony Stokes is one of four nominees for the PFA Scotland Young Player of the Year Award.

The nomination is in recognition for the Dubliner’s outstanding season at Hibernian, for whom he has scored 17 league goals this season.

Dundee United’s David Goodwillie, Dundee’s Leigh Griffiths and Rangers’ Danny Wilson are also in contention for the award.
